Questioning a leaf

Is that truly the tales that you shed

And the embrace of the infinite soil

Does it really ask you stories about you

Or you just tell them, why you are yellow and dry?

Is that the sun who sucked your waters out

He gives you the life and takes your life away?

Are these tears

Wailed and wept until dry and nothing more

Left in the pores to shed and thrown out

As lifeless and in deep sorrow you fall.

You fall to the ground in grief

Maybe to share, to hug

And after all that the soil absorbs you

To its heart as it does to all hearts that seek for it.
